# Peer

> Peer is a peer-to-peer crypto onramp and offramp. Buy and sell crypto using the payment apps you already have - Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, Cash App, Wise, Zelle and more - with direct peer liquidity instead of a custodial middleman. Payments are verified with TEEs, funds stay non-custodial, and crypto is released directly to your wallet after payment verification. Peer was previously known as ZKP2P and is built on Base.

## What Peer does

- Buy crypto with everyday payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, Cash App, Zelle, Wise, Monzo, N26, Chime, Mercado Pago, Alipay, Luxon).
- Sell crypto back to fiat through the same peer-to-peer network, and earn the spread you set as a liquidity provider.
- Verify payments with TEEs while limiting exposed payment details.
- Stay non-custodial: users always control their funds; there is no centralized exchange or custodian in the middle.
- Settle on Base with bridging to Solana, Hyperliquid, Ethereum, and 20+ chains.

## Key facts

- Settlement time: varies by payment rail, buyer flow, proof verification, and any bridge route.
- Fees: Peer applies up to a 0.95% taker service fee to orders. If you bridge to another chain, up to a 0.5% bridge fee also applies.
- Currencies: 24 supported, including USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, MXN, ARS.
- Order sizes: determined by each seller's configured range, current liquidity, and route validation. Taker tiers do not set caps.
- Identity: Peer uses wallet connection and TEE payment verification instead of a separate custodial off-ramp account flow.
